Recall program involves six products are HP compaq series models were: 6510b, 6515b, 6710b, 6710s, 6715b, 6715s.
It is reported that HP had planned to report the latest recall of Chinese State Administration of Quality Supervision. HP said the company will replace free of charge for users defective battery, HP said in a statement, “HP totally responsible for their products.” HP did not disclose the number of batteries involved in this round of recalls. It is understood that HP had in October 2005, April 2006, in October 2008 due to battery defects start recall program. Most recently last May, the recall was expanded based on last year, an increase may be related to the affected batteries and notebook computers.
