low battery affect the laptops speed or Low battery shouldn’t affect laptop speed (unless you have some super-high power save settings)?

The signs tells me that I need to change the battery.I will buy a replacement laptop battery for my Lenovo ,Over the weeks, the laptops performance been decreasing. Its extremely slow. Plus, I have to restart every now and then because of the windows update. I clean and make sure theres no viruses. There are no viruses.

John said It shouldn’t. If the battery is already failing then keep the charger plugged in. You may even take out the battery if it’s really dead and run the laptop off the charger.

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 2008 (early model). How do I find out how many cells the battery has? And what is the difference between a 6 and an 8 cell battery?? Please help! My system says that I am in need of a replacement soon. Thanks.
